Shipping Information
Homestead Hardware ships to all 50 United States and to Canada. We use insured, trackable shipping methods. All shipping services occur only during business days (that is Monday through Friday; not weekends). We cannot ship to PO boxes.
We cannot guarantee all the delivery times stated below. Holidays and deliveries to remote settings may delay delivery times. Homestead Hardware is not responsible for lost shipments and you must file a lost shipment claim with the respective carrier.
Standard Shipping - FREE for orders over $75!
Our standard shipping method for all U.S. orders is UPS Ground. All orders requesting delivery to any of the 48 contiguous United States that have a total product value of $75.00 or more will automatically receive FREE UPS Ground shipping. Orders requesting delivery to Alaska or Hawaii will be charged for actual shipping costs. UPS Ground delivery times range from 5-10 days from the ship date.
*Special note for orders of Emtek products - All Emtek products are custom assembled per order and require 5-6 business days for assembly before the products ship. Most orders of Emtek products are delivered to the customer in 7-12 business days if UPS Ground is used.
Expedited Shipping Services
We also provide expedited shipping methods. Expedited shipping does not qualify for our free shipping offer and customers must pay the actual shipping costs incurred from selecting an expedited service.
The following expedited services are available:
- UPS 3-Day Select - expected delivery date is 3 business days from ship date.
- UPS 2nd Day Air - expected delivery date is 2 business days from ship date.
- UPS Next Day Air - expected delivery date is 1 business day from the ship date.
*Special note for orders of Emtek products - All Emtek products are custom assembled per order and usually require 5-6 business days for assembly before the products ship. Customers who select an expedited shipping service will receive higher priority for the assembly of their products, often reducing the assembly period to 1-2 business days. For example, an order requesting UPS 2nd Day Air will require 1-2 days for assembly plus 2 days for ship time - making a total of about 3-4 days for order delivery.
Shipping to Canada
Orders requesting delivery to Canada will ship via USPS Priority International service. Canadian shipments do not qualify for our free shipping offer and customers will be charged the actual shipping costs. USPS Priority International delivery times range from 6-10 business days from the ship date.
